Development of limit states design (LRFE) methods for stress laminated timber “cellular” bridge decks

چکیده

The focus of this research is the stress laminated timber cellular deck. The testing program has involved application of loads that modelled both the design serviceability and design ultimate conditions, and identified slip and load redistribution mechanisms, which occur at the limit state of linear composite behaviour. This paper presents a summary of the results of this testing and discusses the structural responses that form the basis for design of cellular stress laminated timber bridge decks.
